2009
The toughest thing about skiing in AK is putting aside enough time to get the goods. You can spent an entire month attempting to get what you came for, or if your like Bryce Phillips your in and out in 4 days. In the end its all about patience and this season Haines dished it out in March with day after day of Bloooooooower. Those who were there can attest to some of the deepest driest AK pow ever experienced.

shin deep

waist deep

neckgaitor deep

Thats right snorkel deep!
Thanks to the boys at SEABA we had one of these to get us back to the top.

SEABA owns and operates the Fort Seward Lodge located in the heart of Haines. The Fort provides lodging, a full service kitchen and all the spirits you can drink. The bar comes in handy on those down days.
